After US Presidents Barack Obama’s visit to Ireland yesterday, Dublin is still buzzing with atmosphere!!
Thousands of people were wowed by his speech in College Greene. His ‘mastery’ 
of the Gaelic language definitely earned him a place in the hearts of the Irish and anyone else who attended.

Not a man to shy away from a challenge. We especially loved the way Obama downed his pint of Guinness! And the first lady too!
Set on getting the perfect pint. “You tell me when it’s properly settled, I don’t want to mess this up,” Obama said.
“I have been told that it makes a difference who the person behind the bar is, and that people are very particular about who the person pouring the pint is.
“So, can people vouch for this guy?” Obama added, pointing at Bar Owner Hayes, before he took a hearty sip and said “That’s good stuff, that,” and “I just want you to know that the President pays his bar tab.”
Obama continued to sip away at the pint while he chatted with locals, but was outdone by his wife Michelle, who gulped away freely in a manner which suggested that it wasn’t her first pint of the black stuff.

Unfortunately, Barack failed to wield the hurley presented to him by Enda Kenny earlier in the day and indulge in a puckaround.
We’ll certainly invite President Obama back to Ireland again! He might even stay at Barnacles! In our presidential suite of course!
