The Galway Aboo Festival returns to the streets of Galway this bank holiday weekend! On Saturday the 29th of October the streets of the Latin Quarter will be transformed with exotic sculptures, wild music and spectacular feats – defying gravity, spinning fire and igniting the imagination with light, sound, movement and shadow! It’s all you might expect from a carnival …but with a spooky twist!

On Sunday, the businesses of the Latin Quarter have come together to organise a street wide trick or treat…meant for the kids but anyone dressed up can avail of some treats

Thing you’ve got the moves??? The Michael Jackson Thriller Dance will take place at the Spanish Arch at 4pm. Anyone can take part and it’s a perfectly creepy way to start the night!

Party Trail – kick starting at 8pm trail your way through the best pubs in the Latin Quarter many of which will be holding fancy dress parties with prizes galore for the most daring and devilish!

Scary Face Competition – Think you’ve got what it takes to make people want to lock away thier children??  Then take part in Barnacles Scary Face competition. We’ll supply the face paint all you have to do is add a creepy twist! Prizes for the winners!
