Culture Night is a unique night in the Irish calendar where you can experience the myriad of cultural possibilities your city has to offer for free! Culture night is taking place in both Dublin and Galway with some amazing free events, loads of music, free dance lessons and more!

 

Highlights in Galway:

Galway community circus –  is bringing s a magical evening of circus, packed with workshops and shows for the young and young at heart, performed by young members of the circus alongside professional circus entertainers.

Lorg Printmakers invites you to engage with professional printmakers and experience through demonstrations and workshops how a working print studio functions.

Highlights in Dublin:

With so many events in Dublin, it is very hard to pick out the highlights! Check out full listing though and plan perfect night yourself!

Christ Church Cathedral is providing historic tours of the cathedral and its surroundings, with  live music and much more

Dance Ireland offers a range of 14 classes to choose from, FREE and OPEN to everyone, from 6.30 on Friday!

Dublin City Hall celebrates Dublin Literature and Heritage in music, words and song on Culture Night 2013. Enjoy the beauty of the impressive Rotunda and learn about the ‘Story of the Capital’ in its atmospheric vaults.

Exchange Dublin will have groups and artists showcasing their work and running interactive workshops, so you can try something new, see something different!

Freemasons hall will open up esoterically styled meeting rooms of this Victorian gem— the purpose built headquarters of the freemasons in Ireland.

Gaiety school of acting will be hosting a series of free one hour drama workshops every hour, on the hour, from 7pm for adults!

Irish film institute will have free Screening of ‘The Boy From Mercury’  – Set in 1960s Dublin suburbia, a tale of Harry – a boy who feeds his imagination with a diet of Flash Gordon at his local cinema until he believes he too is from outer space, as well as free Guided Tours of IFI Irish Film Archive

National Leprechaun museum  has special adults only shows on. Not suitable for children. Booking online required at our website.

Musical Bites and storytelling are happening on bus and luas

Spectacular blend of music and literature will be brought to Oxfambooks by Nighthawks
